Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use govern your access to BagMap's mobile application, website, and related services. By using BagMap, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if you are under the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for accurate account information, safeguarding your credentials, and activity performed through your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not misuse BagMap, violate applicable law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, upload malicious or unlawful material, scrape or interfere with the service, evade access or usage limits, impersonate others, manipulate community signals, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you create. You grant BagMap a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt for technical display, and otherwise use your content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the service. This license is limited to those purposes for private content.
When you intentionally publish content to the community, you also grant BagMap a license to display, distribute, and promote that public content in connection with BagMap. Other users may view or copy published snapshots. You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit and publish your content. Removing content ends our license within a reasonable operational period, except where retention is legally permitted, technically necessary for backups or security, or content has been independently copied by another user through an offered feature.
Purchases, subscriptions, and credits
Paid products may include auto-renewing subscriptions and consumable digital credits. Prices, billing periods, trial terms, and included benefits are shown before purchase. The applicable app marketplace processes payment, renewal, cancellation, and eligible refunds under its rules. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your marketplace account settings. Digital credits are licensed service features, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed outside BagMap except where required by law.
Community moderation and enforcement
We may review, refuse, restrict, unpublish, or remove content and may limit, suspend, or terminate accounts when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, rights or safety are at risk, or action is necessary to protect BagMap or its users. We are not obligated to monitor all content and do not endorse user submissions.
Automated and informational results
Photo-assisted identification, suggestions, community information, and other automated results may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are provided for organization and informational purposes, not as professional, safety, medical, legal, or financial advice. Verify important packing, product, travel, and safety decisions independently.
Service changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits necessary for security, legal compliance, maintenance, or service operation. We do not guarantee that every feature or item of content will remain available.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BagMap is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BagMap and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from use of the service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limitations may not fully apply to you.
Termination
You may stop using BagMap or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or where reasonably necessary to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive—including content licenses already relied upon, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute-related provisions—will survive termination.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or applicable law changes. We will post the revised terms and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.
